Opinion and political cartoon by Jefferson Olivera,

In January President Donald Trump signed an executive order that banned Muslims from  Iran, Iraq, Syria, Sudan, Libya, Yemen and Somalia from entering the U.S. even if they were legal U.S. citizens. The ban angered a large number of people from all over the country that went out to different airports to show their support to the people affected by the ban. This isn’t the only thing Trump plans to do with immigration. He also plans to build a wall that will prevent immigrants from entering the U.S. and begin deporting immigrant families that are already here in the U.S. Many families will be affected by this, most likely causing several children to be without parents to look after them. The children who are U.S. citizens without parents will likely have to go to child care or be sent to their parents in their native countries. President Trump may be our president, but that doesn’t mean he can limit our ability to be heard or to fight against his beliefs and decisions. Trump really needs to learn more about the country he is running and put facts before his opinions.
